Due to the ongoing hospitality strike impacting our original conference venue. as of Thursday, April 23, 2026, the LAK26 organizing team was able to secure alternate conference locations.

The conference will now take place between two locations, Scandic Bergen City and Scandic Neptun.

By Air

Bergen Airport, Flesland: The venue, in Bergen city centre, is located a 30-minute drive from Bergen Airport, Flesland.

By bus

On arrival, the fastest way to reach the city centre and Bryggen is by the airport shuttle bus, Flybussen, which takes 30 minutes. The Airport Bus stops at the left-hand side, just outside the main terminal building of the airport. The nearest stop to Scandic Bergen City is Komediebakken (approx. 2-minute walk). Bergen Light rail line 1 (Bybanen)

The cheapest way to get from Bergen Airport Flesland to Bergen city center is to go by the City Light Rail (Bybanen) line number 1. It takes about 45 minutes from the Airport to Bergen city center. The Bergen Light Rail line 1 starts right at the airport terminal in Flesland and ends in the centre of Bergen. See more information here

By taxi

The most direct way to get from Bergen Airport Flesland to your hotel is to take a taxi. The taxis are parked just outside the arrival terminal. The journey by car takes around 30 minutes (20km).
