Requirement for Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination for Air Passengers
Noncitizens who are nonimmigrants and seeking to enter the United States by air are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States from a foreign country. (As of 1/25/23)

Air Travel
Arlington is centrally located in North Texas between Dallas and Fort Worth, it’s extremely easy to fly in to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field. Arlington also sits at the crossroads of five major interstate highways.
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is the 2nd busiest airport in passenger traffic in the world. DFW was also the first carbon neutral airport in North America and the largest in the world. DFW is also striving to become net zero by 2030.
Rideshare: Consider saving $$ by carpooling with other attendees arriving or leaving around the same time. Whova, our event app, provides a feature that allows individuals to reach out to other attendees about carpool. More information will be made available about this feature soon.
Getting around Arlington
Via - A rideshare app for Arlington, TX similar to Uber and Lyft but is only for Arlington.
Passengers can book a trip on a rideshare vehicle using the free Via app. Customers enter their pick-up and drop-off locations and a vehicle will pick them up within a block or two of their doorstep or a nearby location. Those who don’t have a smartphone to download the app can book a ride by phone at 817-784-7382.

Estimated cost for UberX from DFW Airport to Crowne Plaza Suites, Lamar Blvd is $23. Estimated cost for UberX from Crowne Plaza Suites to University of Texas Arlington is about $11. Note: we will be providing shuttle service during conference days to and from the hotels.
