Summary: As part of the UFIT Center of Instructional Technology and Training, this position will focus on crucial learning analytics projects to improve faculty access to data and enable student success decision-making based on key metrics and trends. Role responsibilities include applying data science, statistical analysis, data ethics, and learning theories to research designs on learning optimization and practical interventions. Support for the role includes ample professional development time to keep pace with the ever-evolving industry and serve as a leader in the professional community promoting equitable, innovative, evidence-based teaching and learning practices.

About our unit (about to have its 1 year anniversary): Learning Analytics and Assessment supports the university’s student success initiative by integrating context-aware data analysis into continuous quality improvement efforts as well as optimizing the user experience using state-of-the-art academic assessment technologies.
