Position Summary:

The Student Learning Advisor is a Teaching Specialist (Academic) position with a primary focus on teaching and teaching-related activities and on development and delivery of excellent student learning support, and has an important role to play in the University’s achievement of its strategic plan, Making a Difference: The 2025 Agenda.

The Student Learning Advisor will contribute to the planning, preparation and delivery of the Student Learning Support Service, including development of materials to support student learning; delivery of learning support to groups of students and delivery of learning support to individual students. Student learning support will include face-to-face and online delivery.

Please note: Pursuant to Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
