Online instructor (contract), “Understanding learning analytics” (online graduate course)

We are seeking a sessional instructor for this coming summer term to teach our online asynchronous graduate course ETEC 543 Understanding learning analytics (max. enrolment = 23). This is a fixed term contract sessional teaching position. The course offers a high level introduction to learning analytics for students in our professional master’s degree in educational technology. It is not a data science course. Learners are mid-career educators in a range of professional settings.

NOTE: Canadian immigration rules, and UBC’s own requirements mean that candidates must be Canadian citizens of permanent residents, and must be resident in Canada.

Please note, all positions are subject to minimum enrolment and budgetary approval, and are governed by the Collective Agreement (Part 7: Conditions of Appointment for Sessional Lecturers). Remuneration for this assignment will be paid per the sessional pay scale.
